Textile Motorcycle Pants

Textile motorcycle pants are the year-round workhorses of riding gear: purpose-built riding pants in heavy synthetic fabrics with CE approved armor, made for riders who log miles in whatever weather the calendar serves. No compromises on safety, fit, or function; these are not fashion pants that happen to look rugged.

Fabric You Can Slide On

Every pair uses highly abrasion and scuff resistant nylon, polyester, or a nylon-polyester blend. The chassis starts at 600 denier fabric, and heavier 1080 and 1680 denier panels reinforce the impact areas: hips, knees, and seat. Stitching matters as much as fabric in a slide, because the strongest shell fails at a weak seam, so best-in-class thread runs throughout.

Armor Included, Positioned Right

All Wicked Stock textile riding pants come with hip and knee armor pre-installed at no extra cost, with the armor level listed on each product page. The knee armor is height adjustable, so the pad sits over your knee in the riding position rather than halfway down your shin. That adjustment is the difference between armor that works and armor that decorates.

Ride Through the Seasons

Most designs are built for year-round use. Many include a removable thermal liner for cold weather, and several add a breathable waterproof liner for wet rides. Check the product page for the liner setup on each pant. With liners out, the same pants stay comfortable well into summer, and for peak heat the mesh motorcycle pants take over.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are textile motorcycle pants good for?

Textile riding pants are the most versatile pants family: commuting, touring, and adventure riding across three or four seasons. Their synthetic shells resist abrasion, their liners adapt to weather, and their CE armor covers the knees and hips where riders hit first.

Do these pants come with armor?

Yes, every pair includes CE rated hip and knee armor pre-installed. The certification level for each design is on its product page, and pads are removable for washing or replacement.

Are textile motorcycle pants waterproof?

Many designs include a breathable waterproof liner, and dedicated rain designs live in the waterproof motorcycle pants collection with sealed seams throughout. Each product page states exactly what weather protection that pant carries.

Can I wear textile riding pants over jeans?

Several designs are cut as overpants for exactly that use. Check the product page for the overpant designation and size accordingly, since you will want room for the layer underneath.

How should riding pants fit?

Snug at the waist without the armor pulling away from your knees when seated. Measure your actual waist, use the size chart, and consider your layering plans. Exchanges are free with no restocking fees if the first size misses.

Why does knee armor height adjustment matter?

Because your knee moves when you sit on a motorcycle. Armor positioned for standing sits too low once your knees bend to the pegs. Adjustable pockets let you center the pad on your knee in the riding position, which is where it must be to absorb an impact.
